As brand consultants, Boyd took an active role in ensuring that the brand identity and personality set forth with Blue Cross of California was extended to Blue Cross and Blue Shield entities in other states. The components developed included enhanced brand logos and visual design systems. The work needed to integrate seamlessly with the California visual design system and incorporate various regional ideologies.
In an effort to enhance their internal corporate image, WellPoint Health Networks called on Boyd to redesign the presentation of the company's mission statement. Boyd recommended a more human approach incorporating images of people that represent the WellPoint family of employees, medical partners and constituents. In an added initiative, we incorporated images and real life stories to represent "The Faces of WellPoint.
